2012 has witnessed unprecedented violation of the law by many County Clerks, and the Colorado Department of State staff. Some of these violations are documented in watcher reports, some in formal complaints, and others in legal actions.
There are various types of violations, such as: watcher interference, denial of records, and use of uncertified equipment.

These initiatives are authorized under Colorado Statutes and Rules.
